Forestry Co-op Program

As the largest school of its type in Canada, the UBC Faculty of Forestry is recognized both nationally and internationally for its degree programs and the quality of its research. Earn a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Urban Forestry degree through 1 of 5 programs offered by the Faculty of Forestry. Subject areas cover a range of conservation, resource management, urban forestry, and manufacturing themes.

Participating in Co-op allows students to integrate their studies with valuable employment experience by alternating their eight academic terms with five co-op work terms over a five year period. Upon successful completion of the program, students receive Co-op standing on their degree parchment.

Forestry co-op students are available for 4, 8 or 12 month work terms and bring to employers a solid technical foundation, including field and lab experience, complimented by enthusiasm, a strong desire to learn and critical thinking.
