Land & Food Systems

The UBC Faculty of Land and Food Systems uses student-centered learning to educate new generations of scientists equipped to solve the most fundamental issues faced by society – those focused around human health, a sustainable food supply and the responsible use of finite land and water resources.

Our students study with award winning and internationally recognized faculty members and research chairs. In conjunction with UBC Science Co-op, Land and Food Systems students are able to put theory into practice through relevant, full-time, and paid opportunities in industry, business, and government. Past Co-op placements have included positions in quality assurance, product development, nutrition research and food analysis.
