The Science Co-op Program provides undergraduate students in the Faculty of Science with an opportunity to integrate their academic education with experiential learning through relevant, monitored, full-time and paid work opportunities with hiring employers.

The Co-op option is available to all students in the Faculty of Science. In addition, Science Co-op facilitates co-op programs for students in Engineering Physics, the Faculty of Land and Food Systems and Master of Statistics.

Students undergo a rigorous screening process in order to be admitted to Science Co-op. Our co-op coordinators work closely with the students and facilitate career preparation workshops. Students who successfully complete the program receive a Co-op designation on their degree parchment upon graduation.

With a diversified set of programs ranging from Atmospheric Sciences to Zoology, a highly motivated and qualified group of students and year-round student availability for 4, 8, 12 or 16 month periods, Science Co-op meets employment needs of its partner employers all across the globe.
