The Science Co-op Program provides undergraduate students in the Faculty of Science with an opportunity to integrate their academic education with experiential learning through relevant, monitored and paid work placements (work terms) with participating employers. The Co-op option is available to all students in the Faculty. In addition, Science Co-op facilitates co-op programs for students in Engineering Physics and the Faculty of Land and Food Systems. Students, who successfully complete the program, receive Co-op Standing designation on their degree parchment upon graduation.
With a diversified set of programs ranging from Atmospheric Sciences to Zoology, a highly motivated and qualified group of students and year-round student availability for 4, 8 12 or 16 month periods, the Science Co-op meets employment needs of its partner employers all across the globe.
